Convicted Driver Insurance

If you have driving convictions on your record you may be struggling to find insurance. You will find some insurers are quoting high prices, and others are just simply not quoting at all. You are not alone in having driving convictions, there are many others out there and there are insurers willing to cover you.

At Insurance1 we believe you have already paid the price for your convictions and we want to help you get back on the road. Convicted driver insurance may have been hard to find but you are now in the right place, as we can find help.

How we can help finding you convicted driver insurance

Reasonable Prices

If you do have any driving convictions it is very likely that you will find premiums much higher than you are used to. However, we believe that you should be treated fairly. While a convicted driver does carry a bigger risk and the premium will be higher than you are used to, there are convicted driver insurance specialists out there who will provide reasonable quotes.

Option of Monthly Payments

If you would rather pay in one go this would still be possible, but if you don’t have that option, many of our brokers can offer monthly installments.

A choice in the level of cover

Most people think that third party only cover will always be cheaper, but on some occasions comprehensive insurance can actually be cheaper. Make sure you get prices for all levels of cover available so you can make the best choice for you.

Convicted driver insurance from trusted insurers

We are sure you want to have the peace of mind that your insurance provider can be trusted. We are aware there have been more cases of ghost brokers and false insurance documents, but we make sure all the brokers we work with are on the FCA register. This means they are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and you can have the confidence they are a trusted and legitimate business. We also have strict compliance methods ourselves, so you can feel secure knowing you are in safe hands and have the best convicted driver insurance you can get.

Do I always need to disclose my driving convictions?

The short answer is no. You usually have to disclose your convictions for 5 years. Either way, it is possible to earn your way to a clean driving record again, and we can help you start that journey to a clean record.
